The P60X01 features a 60" High Definition ready plasma panel with over 1.3 million pixels, which is more than capable of delivering all the detail of HD broadcasts. This model is ideally suited to large rooms and Home Cinema systems systems where an external HD set top box or DVR is in use and there is no need for an integrated HD tuner. For a serious home cinema you need a serious screen. This used to mean bulky rear projection televisions that produced pale pictures which could only be viewed in total darkness, or expensive and noisy projectors attached to the lounge room ceiling.
