Designed for TV and HDTV systems in Europe, Asia, Australia, Africa and South America - the Panasonic HC-V100E HD Camcorder (PAL) is capable of shooting 1920 x 1080/50i high-definition video using the AVCHD format. It's also capable of shooting 2.1 megapixel digital still JPEG images while you simultaneously record video. You can record your footage directly to the camcorder's SD/SDHC/SDXC memory card slot, which can support up to 64GB memory cards. The HC-V100E features a convenient 2.7" LCD display monitor with control features for recording and playback. It also features a mini HDMI output for playing back footage in Full HD on your compatible HDTV.

The HC-V100E has a high sensitivity MOS image sensor, interlaced recording ability at 50 frames per second (fps) and progressive recording ability at 960 x 540 resolution (25 fps). The camcorder also has a lengthy list of shot-enhancing features. This list includes Power Optical Image Stabilization (O.I.S.) with Active Mode, 34x Optical Zoom, 42x Intelligent Zoom and a 32.5 mm wide-angle Panasonic lens. It's also equipped with auto white balance, as well as iA (Intelligent Auto).
