quality. And that's exactly what 1080/50p recording (full-HD 1920 x 1080, 50

progressive recording) does. Compared to the conventional interlace method, 1080/50p

recording contains twice the amount of information. This greatly increases image density,

and makes even the tiniest details clear. It smoothly reproduces the images of fast-

moving subjects without leaving afterimages, making it ideal for shooting both sports

The HD700 Series is equipped with five electret condenser microphones. The center mic

helps capture the sound source and distance accurately, so you get a more 3-dimensional

Wind Noise Canceller

The technology of the previous Wind Cut function has evolved to form the Wind Noise

Face Recognition

The Face Recognition function recognizes the faces of registered subjects, and

automatically optimizes the focus and exposure for those special people. It continues to

also be registered and displayed on the LCD while shooting. A total of six people can be

AF/AE Tracking

Time Lapse Recording

The time lapse function uses longer frame intervals than standard shooting. You can use
