The BD-P3600 supports the following video signals: 480i/60Hz, 480p/60Hz, 720p/60Hz, 1080i/60Hz, and 1080p/60Hz/24Hz. It's capable of reproducing high-quality video imagery with sharp backgrounds, while eliminating motion artifacts from moving objects within the video frame.

If you have a 7.1-channel home theater receiver - you're in luck - this player is capable of decoding Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD, and DTS-HD audio. Dolby Digital Plus uses less compression than regular Dolby Digital to reproduce fuller and more dynamic sound effects with up to eight discrete channels of surround sound. In addition, it features a 7.1-channel discrete audio output as an alternative to the optical digital audio output.

DTS-HD Master Audio and High-Resolution Audio
