The Soleus Air KY100 Portable AC is a single-hose 10,000 BTU power house with many convenient features to make cooling your space up to 350 square feet simple and efficient. Four operating modes, a programmable timer, remote control, and 3 fan speeds give you multiple options for keeping cool throughout the sweltering summer months. Alternately compatible with double-hung or sliding windows up to 56 inches wide, the KY100 includes the window installation kit so you can be cool in no time.
Cooling Your Way
Cooling: Simply select Air Conditioner mode on either the control panel or remote and your desired fan speed for quick, efficient cooling.
Dehumidifer: When days are sticky and humid as well as hot, select this mode with windows and doors closed and the KY100 will pull up to 107 pints of moisture per day from your space.
Fan Only: Using the fan mode for cooler days when just air circulation is needed, such as spring and fall, make the Soleus portable AC a year-round appliance.
Auto Mode: For the most efficient operation, select auto mode and this unit will run in fan only when the temperature is below 73 degrees, and in cooling when it rises above that.
When you have the KY100 in cooling, dehumidifying, or auto mode, you can select the sleep button on your remote and this AC will gradually increase the room temperature to 1 degree above your set temperature for each of the first 2 hours, and then remain constant for 6 hours. In this mode, the Soleus will run at low fan speed allowing you rest easily and switch to standby after 8 hours.
Additional Features
Programmable 24-hour Timer: Use the time in 30 minute intervals to control when your unit shuts on or off for greater efficiency.
Auto-Swing: This portable AC offers 4-way directional air-flow with louvers which can oscillate automatically with the touch of a button.
Locking Casters: The smooth rolling casters make for easy portability and include locks to keep your unit steady once you have it in place.
Emergency Water Container: While the KY100 is partially self-evaporative, some condensation may collect—especially when used in dehumidify mode. An indicator light on the control panel tells you when it needs empyting.
Washable Air Filter: Easily accessible from the side of the unit, a washable air filter helps reduce large particles and allergens from your air.
